Just Culture

The concept of Just Culture comes out of Systems Thinking and asserts that treating mistakes as opportunities to learn leads to steady improvement. It assumes that mistakes are rooted in faulty systems rather than individuals and therefore proposes to focus on improvements systems instead of blaming people (aside from misconduct or negligence).

An exemplary tradition that reflects the values of Just Culture is the Blameless Postmortem.
