Schlep Blindness names the phenomenon which makes our unconscious mind shirk away from tedious tasks and makes us choose the easy path.
Exemplified through Stripe, which addressed the hard (tedious) problem of payment, that requires dealing with banks and other fundamental annoying entities. The claim is: even though this was a know problem to thousands (of engineers, many of which would be capable of solving), but Schlep Blindness caused very few to even attempt solving it, due to unconscious aversion of hardship.
